Dark tourist destinations in the news include the White River Monster, Spook Hill in Maryland, the Goatman, Bigfoot, ghostly images on museum's surveillance camera, the "haunted" swing, Moody's Light possibly debunked, and countless haunted hotels, restaurants, museums, theaters, campuses, and cemeteries. That is not mentioning the local ghost tales and haunted walks around the world. In Search Of The White River Monster
KAIT8 sent a journalist into the field and on to the White River of Arkansas to investigate and search for the legendary White River Monster believed to occupy its waters.
Is Utah Pioneer Museum haunted?
Deseret Morning News reports that a surveillance camera in Utah's Pioneer Memorial Museum in Salt Lake City has been picking up the ghostly face of a woman over a several night period and both the Utah Department of Public Safety and the Utah Highway Patrol have gone in to investigate. One image of the "face" is displayed with the article.
