Assistens Kirkegård
This cemetery was founded in 1711 and located on Noerrebro in the capital (Copenhagen) of Denmark. It is the largest cemetery in the city and is also sometimes known as Noerrebro Cemetery. Some of the people who are buried here:

- Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875), writer
- Niels Bohr (1885-1962), scientist and Nobel Prize winner
- Richard B. Boone (1930-1999), American jazz musician
- Søren Kierkegaard (1813-1855), existentialist philosopher
- Martin Andersen Nexø (1869-1954), novelist
- Dan Turèll (1946-1993), writer
- Hans Christian Ørsted (1777- 1851), Danish physicist and chemist
