The Zodiac Killer
On the Fourth of July, 1969, young adults Darlene Ferrin and Michael Mageau were attacked by the Zodiac Killer in the parking lot of this golf course. The killer fired a 9mm handgun into their parked vehicle at close range, hitting them both. Ferrin died from her injuries. Mageau survived despite multiple gunshot wounds.
This crime, like all crimes linked to the Zodiac Killer, remains unsolved.
