Information
Elvis Presley
This 14-acre estate was the former home of Elvis Presley and is known worldwide as Graceland.  Elvis bought the property in March, 1957 and would live there for the rest of his life.  He would die there on August 16, 1977.  Some say his ghost has never left though.  There have been reported sightings of Elvis (the ghost version) at Graceland, and elsewhere around the world, over the years since.

The first floor of Graceland is open for general tours, but tourists are not allowed to go on to the second floor.  It was considered Elvis' private sanctuary and it remains closed out of respect.  Visit Elvis' official site below for information on Graceland.
