The Zodiac Killer
On December 20, 1968, teenagers David Arthur Farady and Betty Lou Jensen were shot to death while parking just off of this road near Lake Herman. David was slain inside the car. Betty Lou was able to flee a short distance from the car while wounded before the gunman was able to fatally shoot her.
Later the killer known as The Zodiac would claim responsibility for this crime. This crime, like all crimes associated with The Zodiac, remains unsolved to this day.
