Information
The Chamber Haunted House
This haunted attraction started as The Chamber of Chills in 2003 and has now grown to be one of the more critically acclaimed Halloween haunts in the United States. Now under the shortened name of The Chamber, this haunt was the creation of electrician, David Enloe, to follow his passion of scaring the crap out of people. Despite his trade, the haunt is purely actor driven and does not feature any mechanical props. Over 40 actors (including Enloe himself) get into "character" and dip into the shadows to wait for their "guests" who wander the 900-foot long, 15-minute haunt. In 2006 and 2007, around 16,000 people toured the dark recesses of the attraction and more arrive each year. The Chamber morphed into an outdoor haunt at the parking lot of the Sam Lynn Ballpark in 2007.

Theme
The Chamber changes everything (theme, music, props, etc.) each year to keep returning guests on their toes. For the 2007 season, the haunt had three sections and 35 "mini-chambers": Hoodwink's Hideout (evil Hillbillies), Fathom This (the horrors of the sea), and Tainted Monarchs (complete with mummies and cyborgs). For the 2008 season, the main attractions were Bug Bite, Wrong Turn Alley, and returning from the first year of the haunt - Cirque de Souls. The 2010 season featured The Westchester House, Toxic Terror, and Alien Invasion.
