Information
The Delta Blues Museum
This museum is considered the place to begin any tour of historical blues locations.  They have exhibits on anything and everything Delta blues related, including exhibits on B.B. King, Son House, Sonny Boy Williams II, Bessie Smith, and Big Mama Thornton.  It is located in Clarksdale, Mississippi; a city that many believe to be the birthplace of the blues.

Robert Johnson Exhibit
Also included in the permanent exhibits is one that features the "King of the Delta Blues" Robert Johnson.  The legend goes that Johnson's gifts as a musician were the product of a deal with the devil that turned over Johnson's soul.  Indeed, his early death only solidified the beliefs that he had made some pact.  The sign from the Two Forks Store where Johnson was allegedly fatally poisoned is on display in the Delta Blues Museum.  The store in nearby Greenwood was torn down some time ago.
