The Original Disney Haunted Mansion
The Haunted Mansion dark ride at Disneyland in California is the first of the four Disney Haunted Mansions to be built. These dark rides are famous for their FX and size. Built in the 60s, this first Disney Mansion opened to the public in 1969. The first house rests in New Orleans Square. The outer facade for the dark ride appears as a southern plantation.
Haunted Mansion Holiday
In the Fall, the Haunted Mansion is given a makeover to give it a theme based on Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. This revision of the Haunted Mansion lasts until January.
Movie & Comics
This Disney attraction has been adapted as a movie in 2003 and a comic book series starting in 2005.
