The Haunted Vineyard
This was a seasonal haunt in Ontario, California that was closed in 2006 due to zoning restrictions. It appears that it will not return but if there is a change in the status, this page will be updated to reflect them. The haunt featured a storyline dealing with a vineyard whose grape vines feed from the graves of the victims of a horrible accident. Those who drank this cemetery wine were turned into monsters. The storyline for the haunt was advanced each year with fake news reports hinting at changes in the attraction.
Held in a former winery, the haunted attraction took place both inside and outside of the structure. Guests standing in line were shown silent film footage that provided the backstory for the haunt. There were also actors who wandered about outside to keep the crowd stirred up and on edge.
