Writer/Producer/Actor Rod (Short for Rodman) Serling is buried in lot G of the Lake View Cemetery in Interlaken, the village he last lived in. Rod Serling is primarily recognized for his anthology TV series The Twilight Zone; perhaps the most popular anthology series to date. The show was a mix of sci-fi, horror and fantasy tales. Serling's follow-up anthology, Night Gallery, took a darker turn and focused primarily on horror tales. His appearances on the shows as a host presenting each tale made him a recognizable face with the viewing public. He also worked as a writer on many other shows and was a scripter for the original Planet of the Apes film.
