Nightmare at Beaver Lake
This non-profit Halloween attraction was started in 2004 by the Rotary Club of Sammamish with the idea of transforming Beaver Lake Park in Sammamish, Washington into an annual Halloween Haunted Trail/House. The group takes in volunteers, including the teenage population of Sammamish and other groups, to build, act and provide security at the event. The attraction is composed of a "haunted trail" that winds its way through the Park, only to come to a "haunted house" at the end. Actors line the attraction from the start to finish, providing plenty of scares along the way. All proceeds of the event go directly back into the local community.
