Information
Summit Lake
This was the filming location for the cult-classic movie Sleepaway Camp. Unfortunately Camp Algonquin which was used for fictional Camp Arawak is no longer there. The land has been developed into private houses. There may be one cabin still standing from the original camp though. Please respect the owners privacy and property if you decide to visit here.

Sleepaway Camp
Filmed in 1982 at the peak of the campy horror movie genre, this film goes beyond any borders previously set. As sole survivor of a horrible boating accident, Angela (now grown up) must face the trials of being a teenager at summer camp. Only she handles the teasing and bullies in a different manner. Follow the trail of bodies and meet her at the waterfront after the social if you dare.
