H.P. Lovecraft
Swan Point Cemetery in Providence, Rhode Island is the final resting place for horror author H.P. Lovecraft. His remains lie in a family burial plot along with his parents.
His grave receives many visits from fans. It is not unusual during a visit to bump into other Lovecraft fans who also happen to be paying their respects at the same time. Some have been known to leave interesting tributes to the Old Gentlemen during their visit.
The Cemetery
Swan Point is a beautiful cemetery. The site is known for its gardens and it features a large number of wonderfully crafted monuments. In Memorial Grove there also stands "The Megalith," a large stone memorial that is remindful of the druids.
