Van Cortlandt Manor is a museum and historical re-enactment of the 18th century. Craftsman there demonstrate trades and crafts of the era.

During the October Halloween festivities in Sleepy Hollow, New York, Van Cortlandt Manor is host to the "Great Jack O' Lantern Blaze." 3,000 jack o' lanterns are lit on the property for all to see. Tours end with cider and pumpkin cookies.
