The O.J. Simpson Murder Trial
Murder victim Ron Goldman worked as a waiter in this restaurant at the time of his death on June 12, 1994. O.J. Simpson's ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, called the restaurant on that evening, stating that her mother had left her glasses on a table at the restaurant. The glasses were discovered in a gutter outside the establishment instead. Ron Goldman volunteered to return the glasses to Nicole at her home. Later that night the bodies of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson were discovered laying in pools of blood on the walkway to her home.
The Mezzaluna closed in 1997 and was replaced with a Peet's Coffee & Tea.
