Castle of Chaos
This haunted attraction in Salt Lake City, Utah was established in 2000 and has been scaring its guests every year since. They offer three attractions (see two past attractions below), as well as the opportunity to win prizes. Proceeds from the event go to local schools and charities, including the Intermountain Burn Camp for Kids to aid young burn survivors. The theme of the haunt changes annually to offer new shocks and surprises for their visitors, earning enough a reputation to be featured on the Travel Channel's America's Scariest Halloween Attractions in 2007.
The Seven Deadly Sins
One of the attractions on site is The Seven Deadly Sins, where those that enter try to survive the brutality of an insane killer, while being immersed in the story of the Cult of Seven Deadly Sins.
The X-Scream Terror
This attraction is not recommended for children, as it promises "graphic scenes, tight spaces, crawl spaces, small drops and confinement," as it makes you face your worse fears. Though the actors will not touch visitors, their site warns that props will and that the experience "will mess you up for life."
