| About 10 years or so ago my family went on a fishing trip out on Long Island, being the horror buff that I am, I made my mom drive through Amityville and down Ocean Ave just so I could try and find the house. Unfortunately with the remodeling that had been done, it is very hard to spot. It was still worth the drive down the street though. If you are in the area, I recommend making it one of your stops. But make sure you don't trespass and respect the current owner's privacy. There's a reason why they remodeled it and changed the house number....so the hoards of people would stop coming to it. |
