| I can cover for you, but the Post-show special was over on Sho.com and not the network. I didn't head over there to see what was going on. If you still need the finale, just let me know! |

My daughter has already reminded me twice. She said she wants the red grapefruit and "no excuses". _________________ Work is the curse of the drinking class. |

I finished the third book in the series a month or so back. It took a very strange direction and I am kind of hoping that the TV series does what they did with the second season and stay away from the direction the novels are going. Then again, I also kind of hope they get back into more of that Dexter as a sociopath that doesn't understand emotions a bit more on the series as well.
I am really looking forward to the new season though! |

i went to start the novels a few weeks back and realized i'd purchased the second novel by mistake.
doing my research on the books, i'd stumbled across the supernatural spin that seems to have ruined the series for fans and critics alike. according to Wikipedia, there's a 4th book in the works, but no word on whether it will stick to the new path or go back to the original train of thought. _________________ Are you and Independent Filmmaker? Yeah, that is exactly what I was talking about. It was a bit of those "What the...?!" moments for me. One would hope he would just drop it and ignore he went there for a fourth book. The good news is that I doubt very seriously that the TV series goes in that direction. |

I thought it was an average episode. nothing original....but still a better time than TRUE BLOOD... _________________ Are you and Independent Filmmaker? Advertise your work as part of the B-Independent.com Banner Exchange program.

I actually thought it was something of a rebound from season two. While perhaps not on par as the first season yet, I am really interested in where this one is going. However, doesn't it seem as if Dexter has presided over far too many of his own crime scenes? Maybe he needs to move his extracurricular activities into another jurisdiction.
I can't compare when it comes to True Blood. I haven't watched the last two episodes of that yet. I guess that is not a very good sign from my loyalty standpoint.
But what about Supernatural? I am absolutely loving the new season of it! |

Me, too. It's been fun and brought out new questions to be answered.
I think True Blood is going to be uber popular with the younger crowd.
EDIT - Well, I was enjoying the heck out this week's episode until the last five minutes. Talk about a let-down. The serendipity gag is starting to get to me involving his near misses. _________________ Work is the curse of the drinking class. |

| To me Dexter is probably the best show on TV right now. I haven't been able to embrace True Blood yet. Supernatural has been fantastic. When is Reaper coming back. I love that show. |

SPOILER ALERT:
For some reason, I suspected that Smits was introduced as something of a filler/guidance for the absence of Harry. I wonder if it will go this direction, but I am with you on this one daphne. Kind of a let down. I guess we'll see where it goes.
halloweenfreak, Reaper is slated for mid-season so your guess is as good as mine. It will either come around when something gets canceled or be sometime in Jan/Feb. I swear I read at one point that they were considering teaming it with Supernatural, but I don't know what they are planning to do with Smallville at the point.
I agree though. I though Reaper was hilarious. |

Dr. Casey, this week I laughed so hard during the yoga scene. Every thought Dexter spoke from within his mind put me into a new fit of giggles. _________________ Work is the curse of the drinking class. |
