Hey I just saw a short thing of a concert of Eminem and that guy was singing...uh... The Way I am... or something and Marilyn Manson was at that concert singing with EminEm?!?!?!
WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD EXPECT THAT?!?!?!
I almost fell of the couch because of the laughing... No sorry, I love Marilyn Manson he is cool, but singing with Eminem? It looked no it sounded kind a weird...
I saw it a our 'local' MusicFactory-channel.
I live inthe Netherlands so...

Marilyn has made a few appearances with Emineim. In fact he is in Emneim's video, "The way I am".
It is mainly because Marilyn Manson took a lot of UNNEEDED heat over the Columbine incident here in the US. Those kids that shot up the school DIDN'T even like Marilyn Manson and yet he was blamed!?!
But despite everyone THINKIN' Eminiem is all about hate, he actually speaks some truth even though it comes out raw. Or he DELIBERATELY tries to piss you off and judging by all the protesting, sooo many people are suckers!! As a rapper the guy really does have some skill. He flows very good and has various styles of rhyme. I personally think his lyrics are GREAT. Even on his last LP, the song about going to a rave and doin SHROONs was just so acurate!! It was HILARIOUS!!!!
But in his song, "The Way I Am", he actually takes up for Marilyn Manson.
"When A dude's gettin' bullied and shoots up his school, and they blamed it on MARILYN!!!
And where in tha hell were the parents at??
Middle America, NOW its a tragedy, NOW its sooo sad to see..."
Which is totally true. How can you blame Marilyn Manson for Columbine. Or even "KMFDM" the band they did like!! Or how can you blame a movie like the Basketball Diaries?!?! You can't! And Eminem points that out.
I love the next line though. How once the shootings hit "MIDDLE AMERICA" it becomes a tragedy. When this stuff happens all the time in poverty areas. No one pays attention to the shootings then. But when it hit "middle" america, everyone takes notice.
So when you see them together, its kinda like they are in the same boat. They generate so much emotion, rather it be hate, confusion, or chaos that people can't understand. And for the most part, the ONLY way they can understand is to label the music EVIL or BAd because it stimulates people's minds to think or seperate themselves from reality.
I think its hilarious that we support guys like Arnold Scwarzenneger, Bruce Willis and Sly Stalone for making these VIOLENT/ACTION films, yet a kid rhyming about taking VALIUM, VICATIM and his problems with his girlfriend and the whole world wants his head.
But anyways, Marilyn has said he likes Eminem for the simple fact he speaks his mind and doesn't hold back. You don't have to like what comes out his mouth, but at least he says it.
Even all these "Gay/Lesbian" groups who PROTEST him. Eminem even says they SHOULD allow Gay weddings. Some people "get" it. Elton John, who is VERY OPENLY GAY, performed with him last night ont the Grammys. I think Eminem and Marilyn Manson are the world's LEAST problem.

You're right, my brother has got the Eminem cd and it is true that he just speaks his mind. Actually I think everybody should just say what was on their mind, Wether you like it or not, at least then you know everything and everything wouldn't be so... hard to understand anymore, but NO! you can't do that, we live in a freakin' "free" world, you can say everything you want! That's what the law says... But if dsomeone actually DOES that! You get all those fuckin' lawers on 'ya because it's wrong or shit! I don't get it, we live in a free world, right? Why can't people just say what they want? I mean in case of Eminem, His own Mother accused him! Come on you should think that a mother knows her child better than that! I mean doesn't that woman loves her child! What kind a fucked up world do we live in?!?!?!
If you can't even say what's on your mind without getting live a "fine price" of $5000?

Another note on Eminem:
The one song every critic and protestor keeps taking sound bites out of is his song called "CRIMINAL". But what they fail to even mention is the WHOLE SONG starts off with this:
"A lot of people ask me, stupid fu@@in' questions. A lot of people think, what I say on a record, or what I talk about on a record, that I actually do in real life, or that I beleive in it. Or if I say I want to kill somebody that I'm actually gonna do it. Or that I beleive in it. (chuckles) If you beleive that...then I'll kill you."
I mean JEEZ!! Its so plain and easy to see the guy is just trying to screw with "touchY" subjects to piss all those "protestors" off.
