"Now, here's another ritual and I suppose one just as good as the next. Doesn't matter to me one way or another. Whatever gets you through the night... or day. Although personally, I believe Sunday morning is the emptiest time of the entire week. Kind of sad.. lonely even when you are all together singing hymns and hallelujahs, but part of your mind is still hardened against your neighbor in the next row. Wondering whether Mrs. Jones there in the flower dress is a screamer or a squealer. Anyway, it's my day off. I just leave them to their own devices."

American Gothic....what can be said that hasn't already? A lot, I imagine. What an absolutely amazing show. Never before have I seen such an involving plotline, nuanced characters, and originality all in one show. It's just a shame that it's all years behind us now.
